Search for the job, not just the product category
Write down the task your product actually supports, the person doing it and an important limitation. A fictional feedback tool might help a small team group support requests, but have no automatic inbox import. Those boundaries matter when choosing conversations.
Instead of searching only for 'feedback software', try the language of the task: 'how do you organize customer feature requests' or 'alternative to tracking feedback in spreadsheets'. These are illustrative search ideas, not verified search-volume data.
- What is the person trying to finish?
- Which part can your product handle today?
- What would make your product unsuitable?
Read the discussion before treating it as an opportunity
Open the original post. Read the question, the date, any edits and the relevant replies. A search excerpt may omit a budget, a platform requirement or a statement that the problem is already solved. If the post is unavailable, keep that uncertainty instead of filling it in.
An author promoting their own tool is evidence of another supplier, not independent proof that customers are asking for your product. A complaint can reveal a task without proving willingness to pay. Keep those observations separate.
Choose a useful answer, including the option to skip
Check whether a recommendation was requested, whether you can add something specific and whether promotion is allowed in that community. Explain your connection to a product when recommending it. Avoid inserting a link into every answer.
Reddit asks participants to avoid repeated or unsolicited mass engagement and to follow individual community rules. X also restricts automated mentions and replies. Generating a draft does not establish that publishing it is appropriate or that an account is safe.
- Reply when you can answer the actual question with supported information.
- Ask a focused question when a missing requirement changes the answer.
- Skip when the product does not fit, the rules prohibit promotion, or the discussion needs expertise you do not have.
Bring the evidence into WarmQuant
In Discover & reply, enter a focused query and choose Reddit, X or industry blogs. Live search depends on the installation's discovery connection; prepared source-search links remain available when it is not connected. Results are labeled as search excerpts, not verified leads or a complete platform feed.
After reading the original, paste the relevant discussion, your confirmed product facts and your relationship to the product. Prepare a reply, compare it with the source, and decide whether to publish it yourself. WarmQuant does not post to your social account.
